Timothy Christian Burridge is an American trial lawyer and Utah politician. He is the former Chairman of the (Salt Lake County Democratic Party ) from 2007 to 2008. Christian was the Democratic Party nominee for United States Congress for Utah's 3rd Congressional District in 2006. He challenged then five-term incumbent Congressman Chris Cannon and was defeated in the general election. == Early Life, Background and Career == Christian was born in Ogden, Utah on May 14, 1975. He is the youngest son of the late George Thomas Burridge and Sandra Heath Burridge. He married to Marissa Johnson Burridge of Pleasant Grove, Utah. They currently have four daughters. Christian was raised in Riverton, Utah and graduated from Bingham High School in 1993. After attending Snow College and completing a proselyting mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Lansing Michigan, he received a debate scholarship to University of the Pacific. Christian and his debate partner Scott Stroud were the champions of parliamentary debate at The International Forensics Association Championship Tournament in Lisbon, Portugal in 1998. Christian received a B.A. in Philosophy in 1999. He later earned a Juris Doctor degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 2003. Christian practices personal injury litigation at the law firm (Burridge Tillmann, PLLC ) in South Jordan, Utah. He is also a bankruptcy attorney for the legal service (Utah Bankruptcy Relief ) also in South Jordan, Utah.
